Unicorns, Unicorns, Unicorns...
Our House is filled with all things unicorns at the moment - my daughter LOVES them - unicorn headbands, unicorn tattoos, unicorn necklaces and of course all she wants is a UNICORN RAINBOW BIRTHDAY PARTY.. Craft & Crumb can help with an amazingly stunning and simple to make Rainbow Unicorn birthday cake but I thought this week I would also share some party and baking ideas for Unicorn lovers..
Party Table Styling...
For a beautiful Unicorn Rainbow party table setting - you can find inspiration here courtesy of 'The Rowe Table.' A giant unicorn balloon in the centre, candy floss and marshmallow lollipops with a backdrop of black and white spotty balloons. I love the colourful rainbow tassels they have on their stairs too - just perfect!
Party Bags...
I'm a real believer in 'Less is More' when it comes to party bags - a few or even just 1 perfect party gift rather than the mountains of little things that end up in the fruit bowl is the way to go. For this type of party why not give each child a simple unicorn headband to take away with them. For a really beautiful bespoke style one you can look on etsy.com - my daughter has one from the little lapins store. Less expensive styles can be found on ebay.
Baking....
Unicorn Poop anyone? Your child will LOVE baking these and they are so simple to do - Recipe can be found here thanks to hellowonderful.com - it is an American site - you can use colourful mini marshmallows instead of the fruit loops and any white cooking chocolate. The rainbow belts I found at my local newsagent (or from Poundland I've been reliably informed!!)
