🍪 Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients (makes about 40–50 tiny cookies)
100g (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
75g (⅓ cup) light brown sugar
50g (¼ cup) caster sugar
1 medium egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
150g (1¼ cups) plain flour
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
Pinch of salt
100g (½ cup) mini chocolate chips
Method⭐️
1.
Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan) / 350°F / Gas 4. Line 2 baking trays with parchment.

Cream butter & sugars in a bowl until light and fluffy.
3.
Add egg & vanilla, beat until smooth.
4.
Sift in flour, bicarb, and salt. Mix until just combined.
5.
Stir in chocolate chips. The dough will be soft.
6.
Scoop tiny amounts (about ½ tsp of dough) and roll into mini balls. Place on trays
with space to spread.
7.
Bake for 6–8 minutes until lightly golden at the edges.
8.
Cool on tray for 5 mins, then transfer to a rack.

Use a ¼ tsp measuring spoon or pea-sized balls for perfect minis.
Freeze dough balls on a tray, then bake from frozen — handy for a quick
game/snack.
Store in an airtight jar or tub for up to 5 days
