Easy Vanilla Sugar Dinosaur Paw Biscuits
Makes: 18–20 biscuits
You’ll Need
- 225g unsalted butter, softened
- 150g caster sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 350g plain flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
👣
Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan) and line two baking trays with baking paper.
👣
Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
👣
Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
👣
Add the flour, baking powder and salt, then mix until a soft dough forms.
👣
Wrap the dough and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to help the biscuits keep their shape.
👣
Roll out the dough to about 5–6mm thick and cut out your biscuit shapes.
👣
Wash and dry the feet of your plastic dinosaurs, then gently press them into each biscuit to create dinosaur footprints.
👣
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are just turning golden.
👣
Leave the biscuits on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
👣
Use coloured icing pens to trace around the dinosaur footprints or add fun details to bring your dino paws to life!
