Mini egg mug cake recipe

 

INGREDIENTS

 

3 tbsp self-raising flour

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp caster sugar

1 tsp sunflower oil

4 tbsp milk

A handful of Mini Eggs

 

METHOD

  1. Add all of the ingredients (apart from the Mini Eggs) into a medium-sized microwaveable mug. Mix with a fork to combine.
  2. Stir in the Mini Eggs so they are covered with the mixture.
  3. Microwave for 90 seconds on high power*. The mug cake is ready when it’s risen and has started to pull away from the sides of the mug.
  4. Top with chocolate sauce and a few Mini Eggs.

*Cooking time can differ depending on how powerful your microwave is. Our microwave was set to 900W.
