Kid friendly smoothie bowls

Breakfast, the most important meal of the day but often the most challenging with kids. Making sure they are off to school or play with a tummy full of healthy and energy rich nutrients doesn't have to be a battle with this smoothie bowl. Simply pop in all their fave fruits with a hidden veggie boost and serve up with a spoon. 

Ingredients

Bowl 1

  • ¼ cup frozen Strawberries
  • 1 handful of raspberries
  • 1 frozen Frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened Vanilla Yogurt
  • ½ cup Milk (any type of milk is suitable depending upon preference or allergies)
  • Handful of fresh Spinach
  • 2 pieces of cauliflower
  • 1 spoonful of honey
  • Toppings - Raspberries, granola & mint 

Bowl 2

  • ¼ cup frozen Raspberries
  • 1 handful of blueberries
  • 1 frozen Frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened Vanilla Yogurt
  • ½ cup Milk (any type of milk is suitable depending upon preference or allergies)
  • Handful of fresh Spinach
  • 2 pieces of cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon of beetroot powder
  • 1 spoonful of honey
  • Toppings - Blueberries, granola & mint 

Method

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and mix until combined. 
  2. Pour into your kids favourite cereal bowl.
  3. Place all your toppings on top and serve with a spoon.
