Kid friendly smoothie bowls
Breakfast, the most important meal of the day but often the most challenging with kids. Making sure they are off to school or play with a tummy full of healthy and energy rich nutrients doesn't have to be a battle with this smoothie bowl. Simply pop in all their fave fruits with a hidden veggie boost and serve up with a spoon.
Ingredients
Bowl 1
- ¼ cup frozen Strawberries
- 1 handful of raspberries
- 1 frozen Frozen banana
- 1/4 cup unsweetened Vanilla Yogurt
- ½ cup Milk (any type of milk is suitable depending upon preference or allergies)
- Handful of fresh Spinach
- 2 pieces of cauliflower
- 1 spoonful of honey
- Toppings - Raspberries, granola & mint
Bowl 2
- ¼ cup frozen Raspberries
- 1 handful of blueberries
- 1 frozen Frozen banana
- 1/4 cup unsweetened Vanilla Yogurt
- ½ cup Milk (any type of milk is suitable depending upon preference or allergies)
- Handful of fresh Spinach
- 2 pieces of cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon of beetroot powder
- 1 spoonful of honey
- Toppings - Blueberries, granola & mint
Method
- Place all ingredients into a blender and mix until combined.
- Pour into your kids favourite cereal bowl.
- Place all your toppings on top and serve with a spoon.
