🐻 Animal Sandwiches

Turn an ordinary sandwich into a cute animal friend! Use cookie cutters and simple fruit and veggie decorations to create fun faces that little ones will love making (and eating!).

You'll Need

• 2 slices of bread
• Your favourite sandwich filling (cheese, ham, cream cheese or jam)
• Cucumber slices
• Cheese slices
• Blueberries
• Chocolate spread or an icing pen (for the face)
• Animal-shaped or round cookie cutters (optional)

How to Make It

1. Make your favourite sandwich using two slices of bread.
2. Use a cookie cutter to cut your sandwich into an animal shape, or use a round cutter to make a bear or mouse face.
3. Add cucumber and cheese circles to make ears.
4. Use a blueberry for the nose.
5. Draw sleepy eyes, whiskers or a smile with a little chocolate spread or an icing pen.
6. Get creative by adding different fruits and vegetables to make your own unique animal!

Top Tip: Try making a whole family of animals! Strawberries make great ears, banana slices make cheeks and blueberries are perfect for noses and eyes. 🐻🦊🐭
