Dig, scoop and build with your very own edible sand pit! Made with crushed cereal, this sensory snack is just as much fun to play with as it is to eat.
You'll Need
- Plain cereal (such as Weetabix, Malt-O-Meal Shreddies, digestive biscuits or graham crackers)
- Small chocolate chips or raisins (optional, for hidden "treasure")
- Small bowls or a tray
- Toy-safe mini buckets, scoops and cups (clean and food-safe)
How to Make It
- Crush or blend the cereal until it looks like fine sand.
- Pour the edible sand into a shallow tray or large bowl.
- Hide chocolate chips or raisins in the sand for little explorers to discover (optional).
- Add mini scoops, cups and buckets for digging, scooping and building.
- Once playtime is over, enjoy your edible sand as a tasty snack!
Top Tip: Add a few biscuit-shaped fish, gummy worms or teddy-shaped biscuits for an extra fun beach adventure! 🏖️🐻
