Kids party food inspiration

Hip Hip Hooray, it's time to all come together and celebrate birthday parties again.

It's time to dust off the dancing shoes, pop on your party planning hat and start organising the most memorable birthday parties.

Here are a few recipes to ensure all the party guests go home with very happy tummies!

Cheese and Marmite Twists

These cheesy marmite twists are firm favourite in our house served both piping hot and cold at the school gate. They also make a fantastic menu addition for your kids parties. Serve on a platter with the sandwiches and hot food or in a cup next to the fruit platters.

They can all be prepared and just pop them into the oven to warm and melt the cheese. They are also a great option for parties at a park as they are just as delicious chilled as they are piping hot straight from the oven.

These mini Pizzas are our go to on a Friday night when we want a quick and healthy treat dinner after then end of a long week.

Chocolate Sprinkle Breadstick Wands

Catering to a group of screaming kids can be a challenge. We love kids party food that is both easy to prepare but also super delicious and fun.

We recently made these breadstick wands for a picnic and the kids had a ball pretending that they were fairies and wizards bring magic to the park. These fabulous wands are also a great gift to give to other kids in the class for either a birthday or end of year celebration.

Cupcake Cones

Not all baking goes as smooth as buttercream. When testing recipes and baking with the kids, there are often moments that belong on Nailed It rather than GBBO. No matter how big the mishaps or flops, we still manage to have mountains of fun.

A few weeks ago whilst making cupcakes we knocked a whole packet of cupcake pans in the sink full of water. There may have been tears but we think our solution to the problem actually made our cupcakes so much more special.

What could be better than merging ice creams with cupcakes, especially in the lead up to summer. This is the perfect snack to bring to the park or even serve up to kids as a Covid safe birthday cake.
